BioSAFE Engineering, LLC, Inc.拥有原WR2的组织处理系统专利，采用独有的碱性水解工艺，在高温、高压下彻底杀死动物尸体、组织器官中的病毒、细菌，包括那些引起遗传性脑退化病（TDE,即BSE, CJD, VCJC, CWD）等病的病原体和朊病毒。该工艺是目前唯一可验证的能够完全杀死朊病毒的措施。

在该工艺中，对有机组织的分解和灭菌一次完成，可将固体组织的体积、重量降低97%以上，并消灭全部病原体。处理机的处理量可从5公斤直到5,000公斤。

组织处理系统在一定的温度和压力下，加碱水解，把组织中的细胞、蛋白质、核酸脂质以及传染性微生物和致病蛋白转换成带有小型缩氨酸、氨基酸、糖类和皂类的灭菌液。碱液生成了水解盐，剩余的固体物质是脊椎动物的骨骼、牙齿的矿物质成分（灰）。
