纽约2006年6月20日的消息，通用电气医疗集团（GE Healthcare）通过其下属部门GE Medical Holding AB宣布将以约瑞典克朗SEK29亿（美元3亿9千万），收购Biacore International以扩充其蛋白研究领域。

GE Healthcare的CEO Joe Hogan表示“生物科学对于GE而言是一个重要的组成部门，而Biocore可以高度的补充和配合我们目前的蛋白科学产品，因此此次收购可以延伸GE诊断和早期治疗领域。”

这一交易将以每股SEK330的Biacore收购开始，预期在7月10日至8月10日完成商讨，Biacore董事局（包括最大的股东辉瑞(Pfizer)）已接收这一报价。
