Designed for the classical "step-through" paradigm this test box features a lit and a dark compartment divided by a special manually operated or motorized door insert. The floor grid is delivers an electric shock when the animal transfers into the dark compartment. Infrared sensors allow continuous monitoring of animal location. All components are controlled via PC-compatible software which also analyses the response latency.
We also provide economical "step-down" passive avoidance test systems for rats and mice.
